New patients
Your first visit, with no surprises.
You will not be walked into a long pre-paid plan. You will be examined, told plainly what is going on, and given a clear reason for every visit that follows.
How it goes
Three steps to start.
01
Call the office
You reach the office directly and talk about what is going on and when you can come in. Appointments here are booked by phone.
02
First visit and exam
Dr. Bard takes your history, examines how you move, and tells you plainly whether chiropractic care is the right fit.
03
Care that has an end in mind
You start care with a clear purpose for your visits, and you decide together how long to keep going once the pain settles.
At the first visit
What actually happens in the room.
Dr. Bard asks what happened, what makes it better and worse, and what you have already tried. Then he looks at how your spine and joints are moving, not just where it hurts.
You get his findings in plain language before anything else, including whether chiropractic care is a sensible fit. If it is, care usually begins the same visit.
Bring anything relevant you already have: recent imaging, notes from another provider, and your insurance details so the office can tell you what applies to your plan.
Bringing a child
Children are welcome here.
The clinic cares for children as well as adults. A child's visit is gentler and shorter than an adult's.
A parent stays in the room for the whole visit, and nothing happens before it has been explained to both of you.

Before you book
Questions new patients ask most.
- How do I book an appointment?
- Call the office at (603) 924-3830. Appointments are booked by phone, so a call is the fastest way to get a time that works for you.
- Do you see children?
- Yes. Bard Chiropractic cares for children as well as adults. Care for a child is gentler and briefer, and a parent stays in the room throughout.
- What happens at a first visit?
- Dr. Bard takes your history, asks what makes the pain better and worse, and examines how your spine and joints move. He then explains what he found and whether chiropractic care is a sensible fit for it.
- Does an adjustment hurt?
- Most people describe it as brief pressure followed by relief. If an area is very irritated, Dr. Bard will use lighter contact and work around it until it settles.
- How many visits will I need?
- That depends on what you come in with and how long it has been going on. You will get an honest answer at your first visit rather than a long pre-paid plan.
- Do you take my insurance?
- Coverage for chiropractic care differs a lot between plans. Call the office with your plan details before your first visit and the office will tell you what applies to you.
